Jackson Soccer Club aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience to every athlete and promotes the positives of team sports. A high-quality experience is one in which every athlete:

• Learns the skills, tactics, and strategies of the game and improves as a player
• Is challenged to improve and achieve as a player
• Shares positive and valuable experiences with friends
• Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
• Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
• Is coached using the principles of Positive Coaching
• Has fun at practices and games

Mastering the skills of the game and having fun go hand-in-hand with developing a lifelong interest in soccer and all team sports. Our goal is to encourage every child to have fun and return to the program year after year. We also hope that all parents will enjoy their experience and feel rewarded by their involvement. We want players and families to feel they are part of a program and not just on a team.

We recognize that coaches are the people who most directly make this all possible. It is our goal to provide every coach with the tools to succeed and to grow as coaches and role models. We are committed to creating a positive culture, in which coaches, trainers, parents, fans, officials and athletes work together to achieve our mission.

Jackson Soccer Club offers assistance to families who have a financial hardship in regard to registration fees. All applications are confidential and reviewed by a committee appointed by the Board of Directors. See the Financial Assistance page for the full policy and to apply.

Jackson Soccer Club and Tecnica FC run a Peer Mentoring Program designed to provide mentoring, support, and positive role models for aspiring younger players, and to give leadership and teaching opportunities to the oldest age groups in the club.

Each mentor earns volunteer hours while taking part in our Intramural Program's Saturday morning training sessions, answering questions and helping keep a fun and engaging environment on the field. You can volunteer to be a Peer Mentor for:

• Peanuts (birth years 2018 and 2017) - Saturdays at 8:30 AM
• Mini Kickers (birth years 2016 and 2015) - Saturdays at 9:30 AM
• Micro Kickers (birth years 2014 and 2013) - Saturdays at 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM

Players born in 2008 or earlier are invited to complete the volunteer application.
